High Intensity Laser Therapy for Low Back Pain

Low back pain is one of the most common things we hear about. People come in saying it hurts to sit too long, stand too long, or even just get out of bed in the morning. Sometimes it shoots down the leg, sometimes it just feels tight and aching all the time.

We use high-intensity laser therapy a lot for this. The laser sends focused light energy deep into the muscles, joints, and soft tissue in the lower back. It helps calm inflammation and gives the tissue a boost so it can start settling down and healing better. Most people say it just feels warm and soothing while we’re treating the area — nothing uncomfortable.

It’s not a quick fix that solves everything in one visit, but a lot of folks notice their back feels looser and less irritated after a few sessions. We usually recommend a series of treatments because the results tend to build. And there’s no downtime — you can go right back to your day afterward.

If your low back has been giving you trouble and you’re looking for something non-invasive to try, this is something we can look at together. Just let me know and we can talk through whether it makes sense for what you’re dealing with.
