HILT for Foot Pain

Laser Therapy for Plantar Fasciitis

August 25, 2026•1 min read

Plantar fasciitis is one of those things that can make every step feel miserable. People come in saying their heel hurts the worst first thing in the morning, or it aches after they’ve been on their feet all day. Sometimes it feels like a sharp stab, other times just a deep, nagging pain in the bottom of the foot.

We use high-intensity laser therapy for this a lot. The laser sends focused light energy into the tissue along the bottom of the foot and heel. It helps calm the inflammation in the plantar fascia and supports the tissue so it can start settling down. Most people say it just feels like a gentle warmth while we’re treating it — nothing painful.

It’s not an overnight fix, but a lot of folks notice less morning pain and easier walking after a few sessions. We usually do a series of treatments because the results tend to build over time. And there’s no downtime — you can put your shoes back on and go about your day right after.

If your foot or heel has been giving you trouble and you’re looking for something non-invasive to try, this is something we can look at. Just let me know and we can talk through whether it might help with what you’re dealing with.
